Expensive and Defective

"This fan priced at over $200 should have been a good investment. Wrong. While very quiet, the remote controls were not very well placed making it difficult to control just 1 set of the lights at a time. Also making it a poor choice as a primary light source for a room. On top of that the one I received was also defective. The blades had a strange floaty motion and the lights on the bottom side buzz horribly and constantly. This exceedingly HEAVY (35 lbs) fan required extra supports in the ceiling of my older home and then had to be returned right back again. In contrast my $70 Hunter fan is great. Never going to dump $ on one of these again. What a waste of time and effort. Thankfully the customer service staff at lightingdirect.com has been great with the return."
